About
The Program will seek to achieve the following objectives:
1. To inspire our youth to become interested in owning their own businesses.
2. To encourage young people to attend community college, universities, or skilled trade schools.
3. To teach money management skills, along with learning to leverage their intellectual and monetary resources.
Program Overview:
· 4 youth businesses will be selected to compete based on their video submissions.
· Five Detroit-based community business owners will act as judges.
· The winners will receive cash prizes and 4-(2) hour workshops with judges to help leverage, scale, and promote their business.
